In normal sketchbooks you often go very quickly from one page to another, which is convenient. But the goal of vaxbook is to make a sketchbook that slows down the sketch process. The book is bind together with flexible glue, that gives each page more value, because the user needs more time to choose when to go to next page. When a sketch is “finished”, the user rips the page off from one side of the binding, which also gives the sketch aesthetic touch. The other side of the binding can hold the sketchbook together. This gives the user chance to leave unfinished sketches on his desk, and come back later and keep working on that sketch. Sort of like a painting. A sketchbook with the qualities of a canvas.
