Plan B Festival is a new grass-root art festival held annually in Borgarnes in Iceland. The project is about creating a home and circumstances for Plan B Festival to set in stone and become what the festival wants to become.

The aim is to create a system that allows the festival to create it’s own environment, were temporary/permanent structures can grow in organic way depending on what the festival needs. The structure and the festival should grow side by side, with time.

The ideology is that the position of the architect is limited to creating architecture that support ideas about multidisciplinary collaboration, and trusting the user for the use and the development of the area. Therefore the project declines to be a fully developed environment of an architect.
